I can’t pull a rabbit from my hat

I don’t know what card you’re holding in your hand

I’ve never sawn a lady in half

Or escaped from shackles while being suspended upside down in a tank of shark infested water

But I’m magic

I can’t bend spoons

I can’t levitate

I can’t make the Statue of Liberty disappear

And I can’t catch a speeding bullet with my teeth

But I’m magic

I can say kind words

I know how to make you laugh

I can change someone’s day with just a smile

I listen to others

I can see the good in the world

I know how to be a good friend

And that’s magic
